Piè di Costa celebrating 10th anniversary

Posted by | Posted in curiosity, news and useful information, our guests | Posted on 24-10-2008

It is now 10 years since it started our commitment: renovate the old farmhouse of the family and make it the ideal place to spend a quiet holiday in the Tuscan countryside.
We wanted to create a place where you can spend hours of happiness full of emotions, in serenity and harmony. Our goal was also to meet people from all around the world who share with us the love for the Tuscan countryside, for art, for the Tuscan cooking and making their holiday as unforgettable as possible.
We have met many new friends during these past years. Friends who have chosen to celebrate in Piè di Costa birthdays, anniversaries and weddings, but we have also seen children grow and children become parents, making us part of their lives. For these reasons, we want to celebrate our 10th anniversary with you all completely renovating the site with new graphics, more content and information and new photos.
This is our way to mark a milestone in a journey that we are doing and will continue to do with you and thanks to you.

Kittens in Piè di Costa

Few weeks ago in Piè of Costa arrived new little friends. Initially hidden under a bush near the apartment Gelsomino slowly small kittens began to be seen around the garden. Mom always careful and vigilant breastfed them with love and taught them to walk and to move alone. They are soft and nice and they love to play with each other even if they are still suspicious toward humans. We are confident that our new little friends are the children of our mascot Pallino. As the father they are happy and joyful and we hope they will the friends of all the children who will stay in Piè Costa.

Maybe most of you, don’t know that in Piè di Costa we have a mascot: it’s name is Pallino.
Pallino is a sweet and loving cat that spend its days running in our garden, lying under an olive tree or a cypress or below the deck-chairs at the swimming pool.
But above all it likes to welcome all our young guests.
In fact, Pallino, like to be cuddled by people better if children. He can stay hours letting himself stroking without moving of a centimetre.
From him side, Pallino will be glad to welcome the young guests of Piè di Costa thanking them with long and tenderness purrs.
